RATE 費用

My fee is based on the customary rates for Bay Area licensed psychotherapists.
Current rates are:

Individual Therapy $250/50-minutes
Family & Couple Therapy $300/50-minutes

If session exceed standard minute, the fee will add up per minute rate. I accommodate those who cannot afford my fees, a Sliding Scale Fee will be provided upon agreement. Please do not let the fee dictate your calling for an initial phone session. I accept payment via check, credit card and payment via Zelle. I can take FSA or HSA cards. For protection of clients' privacy, I do not take PayPal or Venmo payment. Payment is due at the last session of each month.

​OUT OF NETWORK INSURANCE & CO-INSURANCE 醫療網外共保額

I am considered as an out-of-network provider for all other health insurances. I provide monthly Superbill statement for your submission to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you choose to seek reimbursement from your health insurance, Please check your coverage carefully by asking:

Does my coverage cover for mental health services?
Does my coverage include seeing an out-of-network provider?
If so, what is the reimbursement rate and session limit?
How about is my deductible amount and % co-insurance?
Does my coverage cover the services of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker?
Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?

Clients usually can reimburse average half of the cost after their deducible. Clients also use HSA/FSA before tax income. Most health insurance companies are familiar with behavioral health reimbursement process submitted by clients. If you encounter issues, I am happy to assist you as well.

Appointments are made to reserve a specific time slot for you, and therefore, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required for rescheduling or canceling an appointment. Please call me as soon as possible if you need to cancel your appointment. As customary in this profession, the full fee will be charged for sessions missed or rescheduled without prior notification.

​Good Faith Estimate
Effective on 01/01/2022, under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and facilities are required to inform individuals who don't have insurance or don't use their insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
